SEMINOLE FC SOCCER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Volunteer Refunds: If you signed up to volunteer during registration, please remember that you must complete your scheduled position to receive your credit. All volunteer refunds will be issued at the end of the season.
• Teen Volunteer Opportunity: Do you have a high school student looking for community service hours? Teens 16 and older can complete your volunteer hours for you!

Below is a list of all of our Volunteer Positions and Opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities:

· Board of Directors:

o Seminole FC Board is made up of 18 positions

o Positions are for 1 year

o There is a current vacancy for a Member at Large (please see website for more details

Like to work behind the scenes? You might like helping with one of the most important jobs at Seminole FC

· Field Maintenance & Game Day Set Up

· Volunteers will meet on Saturday mornings at 7:15am for 1 hour

Duties may include

o Setting up the soccer fields to get them game ready.

o Moving goals in place

o Placing corner flags on fields

o Set up player benches

o Painting lines on the fields

o With a group of 4-5 volunteers this can be done very efficiently

Looking for an easy way to get your daily steps in? You might like helping with keeping Seminole FC Fields looking Beautiful

· Field Cleanup

o Volunteers will meet on Saturdays after games wrap up usually around 5pm

Duties will include:

§ Walking the fields looking for and picking up trash

§ Emptying trash bins

§ Bring gloves

o With a group of 4-5 volunteers this can be done very quickly and efficiently. 

Do you like to keep an eye on everything? You might like volunteering to be the Field Marshal.

· Field Marshall

o Duties include:

§ Keeping an eye to ensure everyone is being a good sport!

§ Observe games to make sure that League rules are being followed

§ Ie, fair play, no coaching from the sidelines, etc

§ Your job is to be a presence at the field

§ If you see spectators getting out of control a polite reminder that there are children around might be in order

§ If you feel that a situation is escalating we ask that you notify a board member ASAP so we can promptly deal with the situation

· Team Manager

SPECIAL EVENTS

October- Field of Screams

· Help Set up Seminole FC Booth

· Hand out candy to Trick or Treaters

· Help pack up Booth

December – Picture Day – 8am to Noon

· Help organize players and teams to keep teams on schedule

· Answer questions on how to fill out order forms

December - Winterfest - 6pm - 9:30pm

· Help set up Seminole FC Booth

· Hand out club information

· Help with Arts & Crafts
